Tips for building your Empowerism Downline

Follow my step by step action plan and jump start your way to getting your first three signups...

I'll start off with the easiest steps and go on to the more advanced steps. If you are in my downline and get stuck at any point, just send me an email and I will be glad to help you. If you have any questions, just post a comment to this blog and I will be glad to answer your question.

Step One - Learn about Empowerism- The first thing you need to do when you join Empowerism is log into your account and start exploring. If you plan on promoting this program and recruiting a downline you need to ensure that you understand it. Read the FAQ, visit the Empowerism Library, read some of the fantastic member training. Also ensure that you understand the commission structure. As well as getting questions from my downline I often get questions from people who are thinking of signing up with Empowerism so it really helps if you know your stuff!

Step Two - Use free advertising - Traffic exchanges are a good simple way to start advertising Empowerism, BUT only if they are used in the correct way. Everyone who surfs traffic exchanges does so for one reason only - to build up credits. They don't really want to stop and spend extra time reading your page. If you want to catch someone's attention using Traffic Exchanges you need to use short snappy spash pages or lead capture pages. Luckily if you are a member of Empowerism you can join the Home Income Team for free and get free training and access to lots of excellent splash pages and lead capture pages. Since I joined HIT and directed all my traffic exchange marketing to my HIT pages I have built a downline in HIT and many of the people in my downline have joined the traffic exchanges listed in HIT (giving me extra credits) and the paid programs in HIT. I have built up huge downlines in the traffic exchanges over the last year so I currently only need to surf once or twice a month to stay active. The rest of my credits are earned by my downline for me. Give this time and you will see your HIT downline growing

Step Three - RSVP and MVP - These are Empowerism's main products and provide you with a way to advertise and the potential for making money. An RSVP package costs you $25 and provides you with 50 leads (which are deposited into your iSend account). When you buy RSVP your order is put into a straight line matrix where it will continue to double on each cycle of the matrix until it reaches $2000. An MVP package costs $100 and allows you to send 4 separate solo ads to 5000 people (a total of 20,000 people). Your MVP order will also go into a straight line matrix and cycle 5 times, paying you $50 each time, until you have reached a total of $250..

Step Four - Write an article This is probably the most powerful form of internet marketing that I know of. Write an article of around 500-700 words related to home business or internet marketing. Then add a resource box with a little bit about yourself and an invitation to join. In the resource box you can put the URL of your own website (if you have one) and/or the URL of your signup page. If you then submit your article to article directories and ezine publishers you will see huge benefits. As an example, go to Google and type in "7 Steps to a Money Making Website" (with the quotes). Google will return a few hundred results. Click some of the results and you will see one of my articles with my resource box and a link to my website. Each time I write and submit an article I get a huge surge of traffic to my site and my search engine ranking increases as a result of all the new links to my website. Step Five - Pay per Click Advertising - When you search in Google you will see sponsored links down the right hand side of the page. If you click on one of the adverts the advertiser has to pay Google for that click. Google allows anyone to open an account and get their ads shown for as little as 5 cents per click or 4p if you are from the UK :-( This is a great way to get signups for Empowerism, or any of your other programs. You will get the best results by using one of the splash pages from HIT (mentioned above) or your own page, rather than using the main Empowerism page.

Step Six - Your own Website - If you really want to take things to the next level you could get your own website. I currently get 5-10 new members each month, so if you are in my downline you will probably get spillover at some point. Make sure that you are a Paid member as I like to ensure that spillover is only given to the fully paid members in my downline.

At the time of writing (July 2005) I currently have a downline of 70 people, 36 of which are personally sponsored. I have been with Empowerism for just over 6 months. A year ago I had never heard of "internet marketing"!
