OK, so you've ordered your Plug-In Profit Site and Stone has built it for you. What should you do now?
If you choose to site back and do nothing, I can almost guarantee that you won't make a dime.
Watch out for my next post, which will contain an action plan to help you get started with your Plug-In Profit Site
Before you get started on this plan, I'd like you to think about three things.
(1) How much time do you have available? The good news is that regardless of whether you have 1 or 2 hours a week, or 60 hours a week, it's possible to make a success of your new business. It might take a little longer if you have just 2 hours, but if you put in work consistently, you will see results. The important thing is to work out how much time you have available and set aside that time every week to work on your business. I spend between 5-10 hours a week promoting my Plug-In Profit site and answering emails. Occassionally I will take time off from it and do no promotion at all. You can see my results from December were pretty good despite doing no promotion at all that month!
(2) What is your budget? The running cost of a Plug-In Profit site starts from $24.95 a month. This is made up of your monthly hosting costs + fees for any of the optional programs that you signed up for. If you can afford a little extra on top of this for advertising costs this will help. However, if you are on a tight budget and can't afford anything else on top of this amount per month, don't despair. There are many ways to promote your site that cost absolutely nothing. In fact many of the best techniques are 100% free. The important thing here is to set a budget and stick to it. Each month you can review your budget and decide whether or not to increase or decrease it based on your results and your financial situation. Along the way you will be tempted to make purchases, upgrade various accounts, buy ebooks etc. Just remember your budget and you will be fine.
(3) What are your Expectations? Are you expecting to make money overnight? Give up your day job in a few months perhaps? If so, then take some time to reset your expectations and make realistic goals. Without previous experience of internet marketing it is unlikely that you are going to be in profit over night. The Plug-In Profit site is a powerful machine, but you do need to spend some time promoting it to achieve success. It is possible to make money within the first month - I have certainly heard of people doing this. Personally it took me 4-5 months until I was in profit, just over a year and a half later until I was earning enough to turn my full time job into a part time job and 3 years until I was earning enough to quit my day job completely. Why am I saying all of this? I see so many people quit after 1 or 2 months that I can only assume that they have done so because they had unrealistic expectations from the start. Set yourself realistic goals and make a commitment to yourself to achieve them. be persistent and don't give up. Treat this like you would treat a business, not like it's a get rich quick scheme.
Keep a look out for the action plan, which I'll be posting later in the week.

Hi Suzanne,
It is encouraging to read that it takes time to profit with PIPS. I have been with PIPS since 8/07, but I have only seriously focused on it this year. It's been a slow learning process, but now I know the name of the game is to get as much traffic as possible to your website. So now I am focused on those activities that can lead to attracting the most traffic. Traffic has slowly been increasing every month though. However, I'd like to definitely pick up the pace!
Hi Suzanne
Thank you for your very kind help in getting me started. Only been with PIPS for a couple of weeks and as you know I have already had someone join in my Host4Profit downline which is excellent news:-). Your help has been invaluable and I thank you again for being a terrific sponsor. All the best Suzanne.
Best regards
Mike Spearing
