Results for January

Well, I worked a bit harder this month than I did last month, although many of the things I did will have long term rather than short term benefits.

Here's a summary of what I did in January to promote my Plug-In Profit Site:

1) I exchanged links with other websites - ok, I didn't actually ask anyone for links, but I did exchange links with a few other webmasters who requested a link from me. When you start reciprocal linking with a brand new site it can be pretty tough, as a lot of webmasters don't want to link with a new site. The best thing to do when you have a new site is write an article and get it published on lots of article directories. This will give you lots of 1 way links back to your site and increase your Page Rank (PR) which will make it easier for you to exchange links. Now I don't often request links, I just accept (and decline) links via Reciprocal Manager

2) I wrote an article - I'm very good at putting off writing articles, but once I've got round to writing one and it has been published on lots of websites it feels great. My latest article is called Are you ready to work full time from home?. I used Article Announcer to help me submit it to directories quickly. I strongly recommend writing articles as a method of promotion to everyone who has a website. It will really help to increase the number of visitors to your site. If you can't bring yourself to write an article get Just Articles to ghostwrite one for you.

3) I participated in forums - mainly the Warrior forum and the Home Business tips forum.

4) I helped my PIPs downline by answering their questions via email and helping them to update their site via my Plug-In Profit Site Update Service

5) I added more then 10 new pages to my Internet Business website. This was partly other people's articles with a resource box and partly my own content via new pages and on my Homebiz blog.

A summary of my PIPs results for January:

Paid Empowerism Signups - 15 (2 OPFM, 13 regular)
New Host4Profit Accounts - 14
New IMC Sub Affiliates - 25
New SFI Affiliates - 39

I'm currently a Bronze team leader (BTL) in SFI so I have set up a special free co-op to help my two top EAs become BTLs. This means that a proportion of my signups (around 50%) will be sponsored by other people in my downline, helping to give them a boost. Once I have two BTLs in my downline I will become a Silver Team Leader (STL), which will help me earn more income from SFI.
