Targeted Visitors to your Site

One of the best ways to get high quality targeted visitors to your site is through search engine marketing. If your website is about business opportunities, then it doesn't get much better than a visitor from Google, Yahoo or MSN who has been searching for the keywords "business opportunities".

To learn more about how to increase your ranking in the search engines have a read of my article How to Improve your Search Engine Ranking.

If your website is relatively new, or you are just starting to learn how to optimize your site for the search engines you can expect to wait at least a few months until you see results.

In the meantime you can start to get visitors instantly using a pay per click campaign on Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing or one of the smaller pay per click engines. With this type of marketing you make a bid on a set of keywords. Whenever someone searches on one of these keywords your small ad will be shown along with all the other ads for that keyword and you will only pay when your ad is actually clicked.

You can learn more about pay per click advertising here.

You can easily set up a pay per click campaign within half an hour and start to see visitors to your site quite soon after this. Google has the lion's share of the search engine market so it is likely that you will get traffic more quickly from Google than from any other search engine. Before you jump into this there are a couple of excellent free resources that you should take some time to read first. Doing this will most certainly save you money in the long run.

The first resource is Perry Marshall's 5 day email course on Google adwords.

The second resource is Brad Callens E-Book Google Adwords Made Easy.
