How to advertise successfully with Traffic Swarm and other Traffic Exchanges

As you are probably aware, Traffic Swarm is one of the programs that is part of the Plug-In Profit Site. It is free to join and has an optional upgrade. My advice is only to upgrade in Traffic Swarm if you are in profit. It is more important to upgrade SU, GetResponse and SFI before you do so in Traffic Swarm.

If you want to read more about Traffic Swarm check out my earlier post - an explanation of Traffic Swarm.

If you want to be successful advertising in Traffic Exchanges for free then I can offer two pieces of advice:

(1) Build a big downline

Lets face it, earning traffic from traffic exchanges is a time consuming, often boring process. You'll probably have to surf for hours to build up enough credits to make your advertising worthwhile. One way to get round this problem is by building a downline. Traffic Swarm and many other traffic exchanges allow you to earn credits from all the people that you sign up. Some give you a bonus of credits when you sign someone up, others give you credits every time that person surfs and some give you both.

The Plug-In Profit site will help you get signups in traffic exchanges, but if you'd like to boost your signups in Traffic Swarm and other traffic exchanges you may want to join Traffic Hoopla and The Home Income Team (HIT). Both of these are free to join and have downline builders for all the traffic exchanges.

You can advertise your HIT and Traffic Hoopla pages on the traffic exchanges and everyone who signs up through your page could end up joining you under all the other traffic exchanges that you are a member of.

While you are waiting for your downline to grow use a tabbed browser like Firefox and surf on multiple traffic exchanges in parallel for maximum accumulation of credits! Also remember that even when you do have a huge downline it is still worth surfing now and then to check out the competition and see what other pages are being advertised.

(2) Advertise short snappy splash pages

Advertising a long sales page in a traffic exchange is not a good use of your credits. Although you may have occassional success with this, in my experience short pages work much better. Think about why people are surfing in traffic exchanges. The answer is they are surfing for one reason only - to earn credits. This means that it is unlikely that they will want to spend more than a few seconds looking at the page you are advertising. This is why short pages such as splash pages or lead capture have a much better success rate in traffic exchanges.

To give you some ideas here are a few examples of pages that I advertise in traffic exchanges...

That's all from me for today. I hope you got some ideas to improve your advertising success with Traffic Swarm!

I would also recommend Traffic Tornado as an excellent TE downline builder. It has most of the top traffic exchanges on it.

Thanks for your succint post on Trafficswarm.

I regularly test out the traffic exchanges and have found TrafficSwarm consistently produces the most signups for my newsletter.

    Hello,

Traffic exchanges work well only if you are an up-graded member.Especially true with Traffic Swarm.Otherwise it can be a waste of time.

    Hi Jitendra,

I have to say that I don't agree that traffic exchanges only work well if you are upgraded.

They work exactly the same if you are a free member, it is just that you don't get as many credits.

I am a free member of quite a few traffic exchanges and get optins to my list from splash pages on a daily basis.

If you can build a downline in the traffic exchanges this will increase your credits without the need to upgrade.

    Cheers,
    Suzanne
