I thought I'd make a quick post about a new way that I found to make some good residual income from your website for free.
There's a service called TextLinkAds that allows webmasters to buy and/or sell text link advertisments. If a webmaster wants to advertise their site, they just browse through TextLinkAds directory of sites (in any niche they like) and choose a site that is related to the theme of their own site. They then pay a certain amount of money per month e.g $20, $30 or more depending on the popularity of the site they are advertising on.
So how can this make you extra money? Providing you have your own website (or blog), which you will do if you are a Plug-In Profit site owner you can join TextLinkAds for free and enter the details of your site and how many text links you wish to sell. If your site is accepted you then just wait until someone purchases a link and you have a new source of residual income from your site.
I haven't yet applied with my home business website, but I have submitted a number of my niche sites and now have a few links on each site, making me a nice residual income each month for doing nothing.
All you need to do is visit TextLinkAds and open an account for free. My suspicion is that they only accept sites with a Google page rank of 4 (PR4) or higher, but they don't actually say this on their site. The reason I think this is because I submitted 5 sites and the only one they rejected was a PR3 site. I may be wrong though. If your site gets rejected just try again after the next Google update.
One thing you do have to do once your site is accepted is
(1) Enable your site for PHP by updating the .htaccess file
(2) Insert some javascript on all the pages that you are accepting links on
If you open a TextLinkAds account through this page and have trouble with the above, please let me know and I will help you out.
