If you have a lens that is relevant to their interests they may visit your lense and do the same. You can also promote your lens just like you would promote a regular website or blog. Squidoo has a very good search engine ranking so it will generally be easier to get your lens ranked highly for your particular keyword than it would for a brand new website.

Did I also mention that Squidoo will pay you a proportion of revenue from your lens? You will receive a proportion of Adsense income based on the number of visitors to your lenses and you will receive a proportion of any Amazon sales that are made through your lenses.
